Chris has always had a love of art and pursued it through college as an art major. In her oil painting, she strives for the most information in the least amount of brush strokes. She loves when drawn lines and paint work together to create a balanced piece. “Every painting is movement toward a greater understanding of edges, color and dimension. Painting is a gift of losing yourself in a process,” Chris says.

Chris spends most of her time in her shop, called Wildflower Studio. It is an art boutique, studio and frame shop all in one. It’s where she works and plays. “I like interacting with artists and people in the community. It gives meaning to both my artwork and my framing,” she says. “I am so very fortunate to have the support of my family and friends as I continue to move forward in a positive, creative and learning environment.”
